The Socratic method is roughly 2,400 years old β an ancient Athenian wandering around annoying people with questions until they discovered they didn't actually understand what they thought they did. The most futuristic technology on the planet turns out to be at its educational best when doing the oldest teaching trick in the book. Pair it with solid practice to make sure the fundamentals are automatic, and you've got a potent combination: real skills underneath, and a Socratic AI on top drawing out reasoning, exposing gaps, and demanding that your child actually think. That's not outsourcing their brain to a machine. That's using a machine to build a better brain β which is, when you think about it, the whole point.
